T-REX EXERCISE (VAOK Members & Invited Guests Only)

TRAINING DATE: July 26-28, 2019

We are running the T-Rex exercise July 26-28 at Camp Crowder. It is an all hands real world national operation. For VAOK, it will include a Comms Camp, first aid/medical, tracking, security, and other VAOK skills for a three day, intense, 24 hour operation. We may even be Intel gathering and forwarding Intel to AmRRON, the national prepper comms organization. It is time to practice the skills we have learned.

Last year at Fort Hutchinson, we got national recognition for this operation and we hope to take it up another notch. So, regardless of whether you’re experienced or not, your help will be appreciated in all aspects of this operation including being the bad guys.

IMPORTANT NOTE!!! We need those in the VAOK membership to attend and participate in different roles Friday night. Membership will be assigned their part in the field training exercise at the briefing before the exercise begins, based on the skill qualifications.
Bring your CB, FRS/GMRS, and 2m ham radios with you for field ops. Bring a 2m field station if you can. We will need at least one operating at all times. HF field stations are covered but will need operators.

Primitive camping is available on-site, so bring your food and gear. The gate will be open by 1300 hours (1PM) Friday. Training will be held Saturday.   However, you can arrive Friday and camp through the weekend.
