This is a Non-VAOK event open to VAOK Members,

It’s the same address as the one last June.

This training will give attendees the opportunity to learn and practice skill one on one.

There will be a range and plenty of camping areas.

This event is free to all VAOK members.

Donations suggested to offset costs

Friday, April 21 – Camping of all types encouraged. Time to set-up your site.
1800 – 1900 – Dinner on own
1800 – 1900 – Hog Killing 101
1800 – 1900 – What’s in your Bug Out bag?

Saturday, April 22 – 0800 – 0900 – Breakfast on your own
0900 – 0930 – Prayer, pledge of Allegiance
0930 – 1330 – Round-robin Training (All sites open for Hands-On training)
1330 – 1430 – Lunch on your own
1430 – 1630 – Tents/Booths Close and Range opens (Range Safety Officers on-site)
1630 – 1800 – Down-time – Possible speaker
1800 – 1900 – Chow served…beef chili, cornbread… bring own mess kit
1900 – 2100 – U.S. Law Shield presentation with guest speaker, an attorney, and a LEO

Sunday, April 23 – 0800 – 0900 – Breakfast of Eggs & Bacon…. Bring own mess kit
0900 – 1030 – NBC (Nuclear, biological, and chemical) warfare with David Jones
1200 – SW Regional Weekend over…Thanks everyone!

NOTES:
• You must have eyes and ears (hearing protection and eye protection) on the range
• Safety Officers: Mark Ledford, Randy Murray
• 3 grills available to cook on: 1 propane gas and 2 charcoal (bring your own charcoal)
• ‘Smoking Your Own Meat’ supplies needed: Mechanic’s wire, canvas for cooking or tarp for practice, and a hatchet. If you want to smoke your own meat, bring thin sliced steak and seasoning you want to use.
• Those Training this weekend: You are responsible for your own tent, tables, chairs, etc. for your presentation.
