Virginia Oath Keepers Mission
Virginia Oath Keepers is a civic organization of active, retired and veteran military, law enforcement, first responders and patriotic citizens who have pledged their sacred oath to the Constitution of these United States of America. We are non-partisan and do not discriminate against race, creed or religious affiliation. In all we do we must think about the mission of the organization and its place in the modern political climate as well as its role in the local community. Virginia Oath Keepers is an independent state-level organization and is not affiliated with Oath Keepers National.

The role of Virginia Oath Keepers is three-fold.
REACH, TEACH & INSPIRE
The first mission of Virginia Oath Keepers is to Reach, Teach and Inspire (RTI) those who have taken an oath to the Constitution. It is our job to remind people that they have pledged their lives and sacred honor to a document that binds government with the chains of individual freedom...
The second mission of Virginia Oath Keepers is designed to strengthen each member by providing training in three areas: Security, Supplies and Skills. These three areas are important in case of natural or man-made disasters where public services are unavailable or unattainable. Examples of these events include...
NON-PARTISAN POLITICAL ACTION
The third and final mission is non-partisan political action. This is really the first mission; only it is directed at lawmakers, particularly on the local and state level. We must remind them that they serve us, that they took an oath to the Constitution and that their actions should be restricted...
We swore an oath
“to support and defend the Constitution
against all enemies, foreign and domestic”
...and we meant it.
TAKE THE OATH! ...JOIN US! ...and Help us Defend Our Constitutional Republic!
I,___________________ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. That I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same. I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion. I pledge my life, my fortune and my sacred honor. So help me God.
Virginia Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” That oath, mandated by Article VI of the Constitution itself, is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and Oath Keepers declare that they will not obey unconstitutional orders, such as orders to disarm the American people, to conduct warrantless searches, or to detain Americans as “enemy combatants” in violation of their ancient right to jury trial. Virginia Oath Keepers reaches out to both current serving and veterans to remind them of their oaths, to teach them more about the Constitution they swore to defend, and to inspire them to defend it. See below for details on how we do that.
* First responders includes fire-fighters, search and rescue, EMTs, disaster relief, and similar emergency personnel. While not all such personnel take an oath to the Constitution, many do, and all are a critical audience for our mission.
Current Serving and Veterans, you swore an Oath…
Veterans, you swore an Oath…
Oath of Enlistment
I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.
I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
Your Oath NEVER expires! It's time to KEEP it!
